63 Charterhouse Street

63 Charterhouse Street forms the next site to be advanced within the Places for London joint venture.

Located opposite the new London Museum and close to Farringdon station, the JV identified a site comprising the existing 63 Charterhouse Street and underutilised operational land, which will be brought forward as a best-in-class office development.

A resolution to grant planning permission was secured at committee in April 2026.

The development will comprise approximately 55,000 sq ft of Grade A office accommodation arranged over ground and five upper floors, with a roof top pavilion providing panoramic views across London. Designed by Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands, the scheme retains the existing 19th century façade while introducing a contemporary building to the rear, creating a high quality, design led office building.

Targeting the highest sustainability credentials, the scheme will deliver high quality amenity and a well considered working environment.
